Tournament Winnings Information

 

Player's League Standings

  • The "Total Purse" is the sum of tournament prize winnings (put on your credit book) and skin winnings (paid through PayPal as cash).

 

Credit Book - Prize Redemption

 

  • Prize money for golf tournaments will be returned to the player in the form of merchandise credit.

  • Winnings are added to your City of Aurora Credit book, that you can redeem for merchandise at any of the 5 City of Aurora Golf Courses.

  • All monies on your credit book must be used by December 31st, each year or be forfeited.

  • Check your credit book balance prior to special ordering!

 

Closest-to-the-Hole

 

  • Each tournament will have a Closest-to-the-Hole contest on each par 3.

  • Each Flight will compete on their own par 3. One for each flight except for the Club Championship where we have 8 flights, so 2 flights will complete on the same par 3. 

  • Winners will receive a $25 merchandise credit, added to their credit book.

 

Closest-Second Shot

 

  • Each tournament will have Closest-Second-Shot contests on two designated par 4 holes.

  • Flights 1 &2 will compete on one par 4 and flights 3&4 will compete on another par 4. For the Club Championship 4 flight will compete on the same par 4, the group of flights are Champion, 1, 2, and 3 will compete on one par 4 and flights 4, 5, 6, and 7 will compete on another hole. 

  • Winners will receive a $25 merchandise credit. 

 

Hole-In-One Pot 

 

  • The Hole in One pot is $750.

  • All player(s) who have a Hole-in-One during a Men's Club weekend tournament will receive an equally portion of the $750 paid out after the last tournament.

  • If there is no Hole-in-One, 15 names will be randomly drawn dividing the pot equally.

 

Optional Skins Game

 

  • Each tournament will offer an optional skins game.

  • Entry is optional per player per tournament day.

  • For flighted tournaments, there will be a skins game within each flight.

  • A skin will be won if it is the lowest score on a hole and No ties!

  • Net\Gross tournaments skins are lowest gross score for flights 1, 2, 3, and 4, flight 5 skins are for the lowest Net score.

  • Skins will be paid out through PayPal once a month.

  • If no skins are recorded in a tournament/flight, each entrant will receive a credit on their credit book in the Golf Shop.
