Saddle Rock-Murphy Creek Men's Club is for amateur golfers only.

The Membership fee is $300.00.

Membership includes:

  • USGA Handicap and CGA membership.
  • Prize money for the weekend tournaments.
  • Entry into the Hole-in-One pot. The Hole-in-One pot is $750.00. All members making a Hole-in-One while playing in a weekend event, will split the pot equally. If only one Hole-in-One is made during the year that member will receive the entire pot. Payment will be made after the last Tournament date.
  • Opportunity to play in the weekly Monday and Tuesday Night Leagues throughout the summer.
  • Chance to represent our league in the Aurora Cup competition.

Both courses are entertaining, challenging, and of championship caliber.  We are fortunate to be playing two of the more challenging courses in the metro area, if not in the state.

There will be fourteen tournaments held throughout the season - April to September.  The tournaments will alternate between each course with each course hosting seven days.  The tournaments feature a variety of team and individual formats - Best Ball; Stableford; Various 2-Man Events; Gross-Net; Match Play; and the two-day Club Championship.

The 9-hole leagues will be held on Monday at Murphy Creek and Tuesdays at Saddle Rock. Tournaments will begin at the beginning of May with the last tournament in late September or October.  In addition to various tournament formats there will be optional gross, net, or gross and net skin games available.

An orientation meeting and raffle will be held March 8th, at the Murphy Creek Tavern. Raffle tickets go on sale at 2:00pm, with the meeting starting at 3:00pm. The Tavern is setting up a Taco Bar for $13 and there will also be beverage discounts. We encourage all new and returning members and anyone that is interested in joining the league to attend the meeting.

All 2024 handicaps will be made inactive on March 15, 2025, unless your 2025 dues have been paid.  Handicaps will be reactivated only after your 2025 registration is completed and all dues are paid.  The GHIN system opens for posting scores on March 15th.

Each tournament you will be required to pay greens fees and will have the option to enter into a skins game.
